Context & objectives

Following a weaker EcoVadis 2025 result — a drop from Silver to Bronze — Praticima sought to launch a structured approach to improving its CSR performance.

The goal was to prepare for a re-evaluation in 2025, aiming for a significant leap in EcoVadis score ahead of upcoming tenders, with the ambition of reaching the Gold medal.

Amid competing internal priorities, Praticima engaged BeMaterial (formerly NSW Conseil) to clarify EcoVadis improvement levers and ensure operational delivery of the approach.

Our approach

  • 1In-depth EcoVadis diagnostic to clarify results, identify key improvement levers, and define a response strategy aligned with EcoVadis expectations
  • 2Development of a detailed, prioritised action plan covering all EcoVadis themes and aligned with the company's development and CSR strategy
  • 3Formalisation of framework documentation and reporting, including structuring policies, charters and monitoring tools in line with EcoVadis requirements
  • 4Support in completing the EcoVadis questionnaire, drafting response elements, gathering documentary evidence, and optimising the document library

Key results

Structured CSR approach shared across the group
Continuous improvement in EcoVadis score: 66/100 in January 2025 (before engagement) → 80/100 in December 2025
Gold medal achieved (top 5%)
Tender secured on the EcoVadis component

BeMaterial's support was a genuine performance driver. Smooth project management, reduced team stress, and a clear view of priorities. Result: Bronze to Gold.
